Your privacy is important to us.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app.
We do not request, require, or collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
All HTML, CSS, and JS code files and your recent URL inputs are stored locally on your device's storage. We do not transfer your project files to our servers.
Our integrated third-party SDKs automatically collect technical identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID, IP address, device model, and OS version) to deliver features, show advertisements, and capture error reports.
Displays relevant AppOpen and Interstitial advertisements to keep the app free. AdMob processes your Advertising ID and device metrics to cap frequency and personalize ads according to your preference.
Monitors application stability, page events, and crash information. Collected records are fully anonymized and used solely to diagnose unexpected app shutdowns.
Fetches up-to-date configuration values and ad timing options upon application start. This database does not associate configuration downloads with any user accounts.
Projects save inside the app-specific private directory (getExternalFilesDir). This requires no runtime storage permissions and isolates code from external apps.
Imports use Android's Storage Access Framework (ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT). The OS grants us temporary, secure access ONLY to the file you select, requesting no global storage permissions.
Utilizes manifest permission (android.permission.INTERNET) solely to fetch user-specified web URLs, CDN library scripts/styles inside the code preview, and request configuration or advertisements from Google and Firebase.
All advertisements inside the application are loaded through Google's AdMob platform, adhering to the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and Families/Children policies where applicable.
The app only shares code when you explicitly click the "Share" action. This invokes Android's native sharing interface (ShareHelper). No background sharing operations are ever executed.
Standard open-source libraries (Glide, Lottie, Licenses Dialog) are used strictly for UI rendering and are verified to gather no personal data or device metrics.
We implement industry-standard encryption and obfuscation (R8/ProGuard) to protect app code integrity. Because all workspace files are saved locally, you can permanently wipe all cached files, history, and projects by going to: Android Settings -> Apps -> HTML Editor Pro -> Storage -> Clear Storage / Clear Cache.
We may update this policy periodically to reflect platform standards and security patches. If you have questions regarding developer compliance or user data requests, please contact us at:
